The principle of high velocity, small amplitude adjustment impulses has been known in American chiropractic for many years. They have been used in joint treatment successfully and various companies offer devices for micromanipulation.

Dr Bergen and Dr Brunck have studied the subject intensively over the past 20 years and have developed fast and sustainable procedures, uniting essentials of functional neurology, orthopedics, physiology and applied kinesiology to resolve many of their patients' complaints. 

NIT has proven itself many times over and is now an integral part of the practices of some hundreds of course participants in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
